EVENTS
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo likened Mr Chang Yang Fa’s (the Founder of Mint Museum of Toys) interest in toys as “an anthropoligical phenomenon of homo sapiens”. Toys are an essential part of history. They depict the cultural, social, economic, and political conditions of the time or era in which they were manufactured or sold.
At Mint Museum of Toys, we welcome our visitors to embark on a journey of nostalgia, while linking history to the present. We emphasise this link in order to learn and educate, as well as celebrate the relevance to the present. We have various events at the museum all-year round, and welcome our guests to commemorate and celebrate days and events of International, Local, and Festive significance with us.
We have exhibitions, promotions and activities for occasions such as the Lunar New Year, Easter, the Singapore Formula 1 Night Race, Children’s Day, and Christmas.
Just as toys are an important part of history and a sign of the times, Mint Museum of Toys is an institution that welcomes everyone to journey, grow, mark, and celebrate these events with us, and make a visit to Mint Museum of Toys a tradition when there is a milestone, holiday, or event to be commemorated.
