Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo likened Mr Chang Yang Fa’s (the Founder of Mint Museum of Toys) interest in toys as “an anthropoligical phenomenon of homo sapiens”. Toys are an essential part of history. They depict the cultural, social, economic, and political conditions of the time or era in which they were manufactured or sold.

At Mint Museum of Toys, we welcome our visitors to embark on a journey of nostalgia, while linking history to the present. We emphasise this link in order to learn and educate, as well as celebrate the relevance to the present.
